Love, Lace, and Fragile Things

Bare my back to the wind
black, chilly
cold and haunting
tears taunting
not good enough to keep
not long enough to sleep
keep me in your glance
taken in the chance
of loving you
fragile lace
in your embrace
our future pace
questioned
ribbons tied to keep me down
a tender touch to heal your frown
silken kisses
covering your face
mine is a stranger’s fate
cold then hot
to love or not…

I had a moment of inspiration with my journal tonight as I was sitting out by the pool. I had to get this out quick while it is still today! Peace and Love! Sandy
April 12, 2012
4 + 12 +12 = 28
2 + 8 = 10
1 + 0 = 1
It’s about one tonight
One girl in love
One girl alone
Thoughts of one
Hopes of one
Memories of one
One moon, mine
One star, mine too
For the one
Who will cherish one
Who will love one
One tear
One sigh
One goodbye
One journey
One life to live
One heart to give, mine.

This is my journey, I can’t deflect it. It moves across the waters without a reason, except for love. It crosses each channel with grace and beauty like fragile dappled’ beats breathing into the water – Life. Joy. Ecstasy. Want. Passion. Pursuit. The need to arrive at a destination is preempted by the flow of happiness guiding me toward a safe shore.
