It is a magical place (I call it the magic kingdom) where my love was kindled for the “real” Texas.

San Marcus Sky

The moon shining down in the San Marcus sky
brings a smile to my face and I’m not sure why
it seems brighter here
smells like perfume in the air
This is the land where dreams are awakened
where the sun melts the sky and the moon’s light is shaken
rivers of teal flanked by green-soaked rocks
where a a man and a woman hold their hearts
lost in talk
