There are a million hearts out there
Under the rain and covered by storm clouds
You think you are the only one who got lost on the journey
Silenced by shut lips
Estranged because you sought to fill your deepest longings

All these broken tears create a universe of pulsating pain
An aching black hole of emptiness
That can only be filled with one thing -

are a galaxy of shuttered hopes that shine free on every fragmented soul
Bursting into rainbow shards of brilliant light
Emptying every dark place
You are starlight
You are heaven’s breath
We are love
Mixed into every cold drop of life
Our desire is not to be shamed or shape-shifted out of sight
